Question

When using the phone app to record an expense my vendor list all of a sudden won't come up? anyone know how I fix this? sent a message to Intuit with no reply :(

When using the phone app to record an expense and the vendor list doesn't show up, an app or cached data may be the reason for this unexpected behavior. To resolve this, I recommend performing the mobile app troubleshooting steps to have a fresh start. Let me guide you on how.

 

For iOS devices:

 

  1. Go to your phone's settings.
  2. Select General, then choose iPhone Storage.
  3. Tap QuickBooks Online from the application list.
  4. Select Offload App to free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app.

 

For Android devices:

 

  1. Go to your phone's settings,
  2. Choose Apps (varies by device).
  3. Select QuickBooks Online from the application list.
  4. Go to the Storage section, then tap Clear Data.

 

I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app if the problem persists. In the meantime, access your QBO account via your mobile browser and create the expense from there.

 

It would also help us if you could provide a screenshot of the issue of the missing vendor list.
