When writing a check it says that it has already been used?

When you encounter a prompt message while attempting to write a check, it may be due to a duplicate number. If you wish to utilize the same numbers, you have the option to disable the alert for duplicate check numbers by adjusting the settings in the Account and Settings section.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Select the Gear icon, then click the Account and Settings.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Select the Pencil in the Other Options this will allow you to uncheck the Warn if duplicate check number is used box.
  4. Click the Save.

 

If you don't want to use the same number, you can trace the last check number and use a different one.
