When you are doing reoccuring invoices and have more than 2 of them to bill why does the screen revert back to the main home page after doing every 2 invoices?

Thanks for providing the details of your concern, CJR. I can assist you in processing your recurring invoices.

To determine why this issue is happening I suggest running basic troubleshooting steps to see if this is something caused by too much stored cache. Let's start by opening your account in a private browser, which ignores historical data:

These are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If the error is fixed after this, then the issue is likely caused by your browser. You'll want to clear your regular browser cache. Another option is to use other supported browsers.

Additionally, to confirm if the invoices were created, we can create a Recurring Template List by going to Reports and clicking the Find Report by Name dropdown.

Furthermore, if you want QuickBooks to automatically process your customer payments and categorize them into the correct accounts, refer to this helpful article: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

Come back to this thread anytime if you have more queries on recurring invoices or QuickBooks in general. I'll be more than happy to help. Have a great day ahead.
