Question

Where do contractors view paystubs? Or, how do you resend an invite for Workforce to an existing contractor? That option seems to only be available to employees.

When setting up new contractors, Intuit will automatically send a link to set up. However, if that user doesn't log in or not often, they lose their access. How can I resend that link?

Allow me to provide some insights to your inquiry regarding contractors' paystubs in the workforce, @WGDallas.

To confirm, yes, QuickBooks Workforce is for employees to view their paycheck details, time off balances, and total pay for the year. Thus, inviting your contractors to see their pay stubs isn't possible.

On the other hand, if you mean letting your contractors add their own tax info, you can resend the invitation by clicking the Send a reminder link from the contractor's profile.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Payroll then click on Contractors.
  2. Choose the contractor’s name.
  3. Hit on Send a reminder or Send an email.

After clicking the send a reminder option, your contractor will receive an email invitation link.

Moreover, if you want to easily track the money you paid to your contractor, you can refer to this article. Set up contractors and track them for 1099s in QuickBooks.
