Question

Where is the option to revert back to old invoices that will allow me to capture signatures on invoices?

My customers require authorization signatures on invoices. Now that QBO has decided that is in their customers best interest to update and remove features that are critical to operating a business using QBO, what other software do you recommend I use that is as functional as QB used to be?

I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to the Community, @hcraw4d.

You can follow these simple steps to switch from the new invoice layout to the old layout in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

  1. Go to the +New button.
  2. Under the Customers column, select Invoice.
  3. In the upper-right corner of the screen, click the Old Layout button.

This workaround applies to all QBO Plus or Advanced users who have not yet received the software update. However, it's important to note that by the end of May 2024, all new and existing users and subscription plans will be updated to the new layout for QuickBooks invoices and estimates after the completion of Plus and Advanced migration.

Also, Intuit does not provide recommendations for third-party applications or websites. You can visit our QuickBooks App Store website to explore compatible third-party apps that allow for e-signatures on invoices.
