Let me share details about preparing a 1099 for your contractor, @info-htkdispatch.
The stored cache can affect the performance of the program which can cause unexpected behavior like the COA doesn't populating. That said, I'd suggest logging in to your QuickBooks Online account via a private window. This doesn't use the existing cache files, which makes it a good place to determine if there's an issue with the browser.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts:
Safari: Command + Shift + N
Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P
Once signed in, prepare your 1099 and verify for any issues. If it works, return to your default browser and clear the cache. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. Switching to other supported web browsers can also help rectify the issue.
I have tried everything to do my 1099s with quick books but nothing. I called qb a few days ago and they said they would contact me within 48 hours, that never happened. I am so frustrated with this company. I will have to go outside of qb to do my 1099s not to mention this will cost me, I already pay qb for this service that they cant complete. Will I be reimbursed because qb software does not let me complete my 1099s? Probably not. I am very disappointed with this company. Customer service is a complete waist of time.
