I appreciate you bringing this up to the Community space, kplatz. I'm here to provide a walkaround, so you'll be able to see the updated customer's name on the list.

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to pinpoint the cause of this issue. It might be due to a cached-induced browser, which can affect the program's performance and hinder you from seeing the updated name. You can start by opening an incognito or private browser. Please refer to these shortcut keys below:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Next, you access your QuickBooks account and see if you can see the updated name on the list. If you are able to see it, you can proceed to clear your browser's cache. This process will remove and fix certain issues and help the program run optimally.

You can also use other devices and supported browsers to ensure that you're good to go.

Furthermore, you can manage your customers easily with QuickBooks Online. This will help you edit, delete, or merge customers to keep your list organized.

Also, you can review this article to run a report about your customers and export it for future reference: Get the total number of customers in QuickBooks Online.
