Let me provide information and help you remove the invoice from your check register in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
You might have selected your checking account in tracking your product and services. Here's how to fix it so the invoice will not show in your check register:
Go to the Gear Icon and select Product and Services.
Find the specific product or service and select Edit.
Change the Income account to a Sales or Revenue account.
Click Save.
Once done for check register, delete the invoice.
