some Banks function and others have stopped even after multiple reconnect authorizations. so it appears the problem is Quickbooks.

Dealing with bank connection issues can be frustrating, especially when it disrupts your workflow. But don't worry, @myocom7, I'm here to help you resolve this matter.

Before anything else, could you please tell me what specific bank you're having trouble connecting with? Also, did you encounter any specific error message? It's important to check with your bank to ensure there are no issues on their end, as QuickBooks relies on the services provided by the banks.

In the meantime, you can check these articles to help you fix any banking issues:

  • Fix bank error 108 in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Self-Employed
  • Fixing banking error 324 in QuickBooks Self-Employed

Regarding your concern about being charged without being able to use the service, please know that the billing is based on your monthly or annual subscription. Charges will cease once you decide to cancel your plan.

Additionally, it's essential to categorize your newly downloaded bank transactions. This ensures they are accurately recorded and can be easily reconciled with your bank statements.

If you have any further questions or need more clarification on the bank connection issue, please feel free to reach out. I'm more than happy to help.
