Why are vendors paid bills not showing up?

When I select a vendor,  their past bill payments don't show.

Maintaining a complete record of all transactions, including bill payments, is a crucial aspect of effective bookkeeping, chris440. I have some steps to share to help you find the transactions.

 

First, let's make sure there aren't any filters in the Transaction List window that can be hiding your bill payments. Here's how to check:

 

  1. Go back to the vendor's profile and proceed to the Transaction List tab.
  2. Click the drop-down list beside Filter and select All transactions or Bill payment.
  3. You can also change the period or date filters. Just click Filter and select a date.
  4. Click Apply.

 

Additionally, browser issues can cause transactions to be hidden or lead to unexpected behavior in QuickBooks Online.

 

If you're still unable to see the bill payments after removing any filters, let me share these additional troubleshooting steps:

 

  1. Use a private/incognito browsing session or restart your browser.
  2. Clear your browser's cache.
  3. Add Intuit as a trusted site.

 

Once you've logged out and back into QuickBooks, check if you can now view the bill payments.
