I used to be able to highlight, then copy and paste in an invoice or estimate description. It no longer lets me. The whole page moves when I try

Thanks for joining us here, @ahp691.

I understand the significance of duplicating and transferring data while generating estimates.

I'm here to help you efficiently copy and paste descriptions when creating estimates in QuickBooks Online (QBO)

Sometimes, browser issues in QuickBooks Online can be caused by cached resources. To isolate this, you can log into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in a private window (incognito) to fix the issue. I've provided the shortcut keys below for your guide:

First, let's try accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

If it works, switch back to your regular browser. Then, clear its cache. This way, you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also use a different supported one.

Additionally, you can visit this article to learn how to personalize and add specific info to your sales forms in QBO: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Please don't hesitate to reach us again by leaving a comment below if you have additional queries about creating estimates. We're always here to help. Stay safe.
