Why can't I make an owner's draw?

Please know that if you're a sole proprietor, you must be paid with an owner's draw instead of a paycheck through payroll. Since you’ll be withdrawing this, let’s ensure that you have created an Owner’s Equity account by referring to this article: Add an account to your chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online. 

Take note that when it comes to creating an account, it would be best to reach out to your accountant. It is to ensure that the information you have selected is accurate.
