The QuickBooks Community is ready to help you, mjzen. I'm here to provide a possible solution so you can proceed with saving your journal entry in QuickBooks Online.

Before anything else, is there an error message that appears while saving it?

As we proceed to the solution, let's try performing the troubleshooting steps to identify if this is due to a browser issue. I suggest accessing your QBO account using an incognito window. Browsing in this mode means your activity data isn't saved on your device, or to a Google Account you're not signed into.

Here are the shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox: press: Shift + CTRL + P

If this option works and allows you to save your journal entry, we can clear the browser cache. Clearing the cache can enhance QuickBooks functionality by preventing missing tabs and features. This action helps reduce issues that may arise when using QuickBooks.

Additionally, for your future reference, I'm sharing this page to assist you in recording cash flow. See this for more details: Use reports to track cash flow in QuickBooks Online.

I'm still here if there's anything you need to achieve within the QBO account. Keep me notified by adding a response below. Have a fantastic day.
