I understand the importance of pulling up your credit card statements from the beginning of the year. Let me share some information about this matter.
Once you connect your bank, your bank or credit card statements will automatically download and categorized in QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, some banks allow you to download 24 months' worth of transactions, and some only allow 90 days of transactions. With this, I recommend getting the transactions from your bank into a CSV file and uploading it manually in QBO.
Here's how:
Go to Transactions, then Bank Transactions.
Click the Link account dropdown, then select Upload from file.
Select Drag and Drop or Select Files, andchoose the file you downloaded from your bank, then click Continue.
In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transaction, then click Continue.
Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields, then click Continue.
Select the transactions you want to import, then select Continue.
Click Yes, then hit Done when you accept the transactions.
Furthermore, you can match and categorize your transactions and reconcile your accounts to ensure that your statements and QBO accounts are accurate and well-balanced.
Let me know if you have other concerns with pulling up your credit card statements in QuickBooks Online. I'll be a click away and ready to lend you a hand. Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe!
