Why do I get a duplicate reaccuring invoice?

I keep getting two invoices for the same reccurng invoice.

Thank you for sharing your concern with the community, @nesvt. I'm here to provide some insights and assist you with the issue of duplicate recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online.
 

One possible reason for recurring transaction duplicates is the creation of multiple templates with different names for the same customer.

 

To resolve this issue, let's begin by identifying the duplicate template.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. From the left menu, choose Reports.
  2. In the Find report by name field, enter Recurring Template List.
  3. Click Customize.
  4. On the Customize report window, select Filter, then the Name checkbox.
  5. In the Name field, select the customer’s name.
  6. Hit Run report.

 

Next, remove the duplicate template by following these steps:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon ⚙.
  2. Select Recurring transactions.
  3. Locate the Template Name behind those duplicate transactions
  4. Choose Delete from the Action column.
  5. Hit Yes.

Once done, go back to the Invoices tab to delete the duplicate transaction.
