Why do I have a payment that I have received from a customer stuck in review?

I have received a payment that is stuck in review. What does this mean?

Congrats on making your first post here in the Community. 

 

Sometimes, QuickBooks reviews payments because there are some details related to that payment that require further review. QuickBooks will send you an email with specific steps on how to address the issue. In some cases, we may request additional information to complete our review.

 

QuickBooks typically completes the review process for new accounts within five business days. During this period, we will set up your merchant account. This could be the reason why you haven't received any email regarding the payment. Once it's finished, the payment will be automatically deposited into your bank account.

 

On the other hand, if your account isn't new to QuickBooks Payments. I suggest contacting our Payments Support. They have the tools to check your account internally and check the transaction status of your payment.
