Why do my paid invoices not show up in my P&L

When I mark an invoice as paid it does not go to my P&L

@bwa7676-gmail-co  Two explanations immediately come to mind.

 

If you are set to Accrual basis, marking the invoice paid won't change anything; the invoice was already recognized as income upon creation.

 

Alternatively, whatever line items are involved in the invoice may not be properly linked to P&L accounts. In this case, you should edit the items in question and see where they are set to flow to.

Alternatively, you could love and respect yourself and go to QuickBooks Desktop instead.

 

Or really, literally anything other than moving fully into QBO.
