Why does it keep saying wrong product or service name when I create an invoice ? This is only my 2nd invoice trying to create

Before we move forward, let's confirm that the products or services you've chosen have been created successfully. Let's go through Sales menu, then Products & Services.
 


Once you confirm this, let's begin by opening your QuickBooks account in a private window to rule out browser-related issues. You can do this by using the following keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl+ Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P
     


If this works, return to your regular browser and clear your cache to refresh the system.  You can also switch to other installed supported browsers, which is a good alternative.

 

Also, I'd like to request a screenshot of the error message you received while creating your invoice. This extra information will assist us in identifying any similar reported issues.

 

For future reference, if you have received payment from one of your customers, you can record it in QuickBooks. It will mark your invoices as paid, ensuring that your financial records are accurate.
