Why does my left menu not have the same shortcuts on different computers?

There's a good chance that you're logged in to the incorrect company in QuickBooks Online (QBO), gordon. Not to worry! Let's take a moment to check and make sure you're signed in to the right account.

 

Once you have verified and still cannot see your saved bookmarks in the left menu, I recommend performing browser troubleshooting steps to address unusual behavior in a cloud-based application like QuickBooks. To begin, please access your company file in a private browser using the following shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

Once done, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache or cookies to avoid similar issues in the future. Other than that, we can use other supported browsers for a better experience.

Yes, of course I am logged into the same account.  I only have one.

 

It's not that I can't see the left hand shortcut tabs, I can see them.  But when I log onto each of the three computers that I use, the left menu shortcuts are not the same.  It's an online application, shouldn't they be the same no matter which computer I logon?

As far as I can tell from hundreds of threads on this forum, it does well to function at all most days, let alone consistently.
