Why does qbo checking statement not cover a complete month or do they intentionally cause me work to close the monthly balances?

This is supposed to be book keeping software. Why are the account monthly statements opening prior to the first of the month and ending prior to the end of of the month even though the entire world including and more importantly all the tax agencies set to a regular calendar? Where do I send the bill for my 250.00 per hour CPA that has to certify this muck?

Hello, ethiccollc.

I understand that incomplete transactions on your bank statement can be challenging. Let's work together to figure out why.

Your statement cycle begins on the day your account is approved. Since the number of days each month varies, no billing cycle is exactly 30 days long. If your account is approved on the 29th, 30th, or 31st of the month, the cycle will start on the 1st of the following month. You can find your cycle date on your statement. However, if you notice that your statement doesn't cover the entire month, we suggest reaching out to our support team to review your account.

Here's how:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company. Click Help (?).
2. Select either tab: Assistant or Talk to a Human.
3. Search or select Contact Us.
4. Start a chat with a support expert.

In case you have a QuickBooks debit card and face any payment-related issues, you can also get in touch with our Greendot partners using the contact number provided on the back of your card. They are equipped to assist and provide the necessary guidance to resolve your concerns.

Furthermore, I'm adding this article as your reference about the Frequently Asked Questions of QuickBooks Checking: QuickBooks Checking FAQ.

You can also track your financial statements by running reports within the program.
