Hi there, @info2061.

To calculate your product line total, please click on the Amount box. Let me offer guidance about this process.

QuickBooks Online calculates the quantity and rate total from your invoices. However, you must click the Amount column to reflect the correct total of the product line item. To do so, here's how:

  1. Open your QuickBooks account.
  2. Go to + New, then select Invoices.
  3. Once you're on the invoice page, add the necessary information.
  4. After you enter your product or service, enter the correct Qty.
  5. Once done, click the Amount box to calculate the product's total.
  6. If everything is correct, click Save and close.

Moreover, if you're still having trouble calculating the total for your product line item, you can consider troubleshooting this matter. An overloaded browser cache can cause issues with your QuickBooks account. To address this, access your account using an incognito mode to see if this resolves this concern.

You can use these shortcut keys to open one:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Once there, open your QuickBooks account and create an invoice to see if it correctly calculates the product item total. If this works, proceed with clearing your browser's history and cache. Additionally, consider using a supported browser to maximize your QuickBooks activities.
