Why does the Chase feed in Quick Books not match my actual Chase Bank paper statement

I can provide you with some information about why this is happening, George.

When you connect your bank, QuickBooks is dependent on what your bank shares. That's why you're unable to change the dates of your downloaded feeds. Also, if you have any questions about your downloaded feeds and how they are downloaded, you'll have to reach out to your bank.

In the meantime, since QuickBooks will always look at your bank statement as the basis when matching bank transactions, you can exclude the downloaded feed that was dated Feb 1. To do so, follow the steps below:

1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
2. Select the checkbox of the transactions to exclude.
3. Click Exclude.
   
   

The transaction moves to the Excluded tab of the Banking page. After that, manually clear the same transactions in QuickBooks from your Chart of Accounts.
