I have insights about managing customers' information using QuickBooks Online (QBO), @connole1965. Let me share it with you.

When you add and save customer information in QuickBooks Online, it should appear in the Customers menu. If it doesn't show up after logging out, perform a troubleshooting in your browser to address this issue. Run QuickBooks Online in a private or incognito browsing mode. In some cases, the browser's cache data becomes full. It causes unusual behavior when accessing your Online account when it happens, like missing the option to delete a sales tax payment. See these keyboard shortcuts to open a private window of supported browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

For a detailed step-by-step process in clearing your cache, check out this article: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

If the issue persists, check this article for further steps in fixing the concern: System requirements for QuickBooks Online products

On the other hand, you may also have a sub-customer when managing projects in QBO. To change it, you can see this link on how: Change sub-customers into projects QuickBooks Online.

You can let me know once it works. Feel free to post here again if you have any additional questions related to the program. I've got you covered, and I'll get back to you. Take care.
