Why does the "NEW IMPROVED" invoice template not show if the invoice has been emailed or not. LIKE THE OLDER VERSION DID.

Hi, Keith. I'll walk you through where to see if your invoices were emailed successfully. I recognize that the new layout has significantly impacted your accustomed routine.

 

There are different ways to confirm if the invoice was emailed successfully. You can find the information on the Sales or Invoice page, including when you generate the Invoice List report.

Here's how to check if the invoice was emailed: 

 

  1. Hover over the Sales menu. Click the invoices you'll want to check if it was sent.
  2. If you're already on the invoice page, select the Manage icon.
  3. Press the Status dropdown. Hit Activity.




We can also generate the Invoice List report to see a list of sent transactions via email by following these steps:

 

  1. Go to the Reports menu, then enter Invoice List in the search bar.
  2. Click Columns. Scroll down and tick Sent.
     


For future reference, if you have received payment from one of your customers, you can record it in QuickBooks. It will mark your invoices as paid, ensuring that your financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
