Question

Why I can't see price rule in my QBO? I get into: Account and Settings / Sales / Products and services but there is no price rule setting option. How can I get it?

Hi Jones.chg.

Price Rules is a new beta feature that can only be set up through your desktop web browser only. To turn on Price Rules, I have some steps to help direct you. 

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Account and Settings or Company Settings.
  2. Select the Sales tab.
  3. In the Products and Services section, select Edit ✏️.
  4. Select the Turn on price rules Beta check mark.
  5. Select Save and then Done.

If you have any more questions about Price Rules and creating them, this article should help with setting price rules in QuickBooks Online.  If you're not able to turn on this beta feature, try clearing your cache and cookies for your browser. I'm here if you have any other questions.

I knew the way you post. That's why I addressed in the question that I can't see the 'price rules Beta' option. As attached is the screen cut of the option group.

Thank you for following up, jones.chg. This is a new feature being rolled out by QuickBooks Online. I recommend opening an incognito browser for your corresponding browser. 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Once in incognito sign in to your QBO account and try to view the Price Rule Option. If you're still not able to see this option, please reach out to me here.
