I tested this out with sending myself a test invoice. When creating the invoice I have it turned on that I accept venmo and paypal. Once going to pay that test invoice it gives me the paypal option to pay but venmo is not on there.

Hi there, ttscleaning. I'd be more than happy to help you resolve this issue about being unable to use Venmo as the payment option in QuickBooks Online.

I understand that having the option to choose your preferred payment method is crucial in QBO. Let's work together to resolve this issue by troubleshooting it through the use of incognito. Sometimes, the cache of our browser can get filled up, which can cause issues when working with your QBO account. Running your account in private mode will help your computer run more efficiently and free up some of its storage space to ensure seamless work.

See these keyboard shortcuts to open a private window:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

Also, you can try clearing your browser cache and using a supported browser so you can take advantage of QBO's full potential.

After doing the troubleshooting steps, you can try again and resend a test invoice to yourself. If the issue still persists after this, I recommend contacting our support team for further investigation on why such a thing has happened. They have the expertise and tools that are necessary to help fix this.

I'm all ears if you have further concerns about using Venmo as an option to pay your invoices. I'm just one tap away.
