I started using QB because of the app and ease of invoicing customers by email. Add taxes to commercial customers and not to residential. Not even add a payment on the spot. The app is almost useless. And QB  customer service is useless completely useless.

I understand how you feel, ovalenzuela. I realize that this situation is difficult for you, but let me share a solution so you can easily locate and edit the invoices you've created using the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app.

I want to ensure that we're on the same page, so may I ask what specific page from the app your invoices disappeared from? What mobile device you're using to access the app? Further details would be much appreciated for me to narrow down this issue.

Usually, once you save an invoice, you can easily locate it within your invoices list or from your customer's transaction list. See this sample screenshot below:

Regarding adding taxes to commercial customers, you'll want to make sure that they were marked as taxable and the residential were marked as nontaxable in their customer profile. Here's an article for the step-by-step process: Understand and set up sales tax-exemptions in QuickBooks Online.

If you need to edit your customer details, check out these articles to learn how to do it within the app and on a web browser:

You'll also want to ensure that you have made the product or service item taxable when generating the invoices.

Concerning recording a payment instantly, you can surely do it within the QBO app. Just locate the invoice in question and follow the attached screenshot to record it on the spot:

If you still can't locate the created invoices, we can refresh the data within the app or from the settings menu on your mobile app. This refreshes the application to remove the older cache that causes some unusual behavior. See this article for detailed steps about this process: See your latest data in the QuickBooks Online app.

If the issue persists, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the QBO mobile app. It allows you to use the app on a clean slate.

Feel free to drop a comment below if you need further assistance with managing your invoices. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Have a good one and stay safe.
