Let me welcome you first to the Community, maddiecando.

When you upload the receipt as an attachment, make sure you're using a supported file type to successfully bring the entry into your company. QuickBooks Online (QBO) supports PDF, JPEG, PNG, JPG, and GIF. For a newer iPhone or iPad, your images might be in the HEIC format so you'll have to convert HEIC images to a compatible format

Also, we don’t recommend uploading receipts with sensitive or personal info, like credit card numbers and government identifiers. In case you're utilizing the correct file type, let's go over some troubleshooting steps to fix the issue.

You can start by accessing your account in an incognito or private window to determine if it's related to browser concerns. Check out the shortcut keys below for quick navigation:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

If it works, get back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Doing this helps the program to run smoothly. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative.

I've got some handy resources that will guide you on how to track receipts by using a computer, mobile device, or even your email account:

You can always add a reply if you need further assistance uploading your receipts. I’d be delighted to lend a helping hand, maddiecando.
