Question

Will the recipients I add to an estimate automatically populate when I convert to an invoice?

I want to copy my client's bookkeeper on all invoices.  I do not want to add bookkeeper's email address to the customer profile.  I do, however, want the bookkeeper to be copied on all invoices.  Will including this on the estimate achieve the result I am seeking?  I feel like sometimes it works and sometimes it does not??

I appreciate you dropping by the Community form. I understand you want to clarify if recipients added to an estimate automatically populate when converted to an invoice. I'll impart insight and guidelines that could help you achieve this.

In QuickBooks Online, when you add recipients to an estimate, they automatically populate when you convert the estimate to an invoice. The details from the estimate are carried over to the invoice by default.

You may refer to the short clip added along with the steps for better reference:

    1.  Go to Sales, then select All Sales.
    2.  Open the estimate.
    3.  Select Create Invoice.
    4.  Make any necessary edits to the invoice.
    5.  If you need to customize any invoice fields, select ⚙ Manage and select the dropdown▼ on the section you need to customize. Then, turn the switches on or off to change what is displayed on the invoice. As you make changes, a preview displays on the form.
    6.  When you're ready, select Save to save the invoice, or select Review and send to email the invoice to your customer.
