Question

With QB Online changing over to new invoice format May 6, 2024, I noticed that all of my price rules have stopped working for products/services. How do I correct this?

I can see all of my price rules for each vendor/client and they are all active yet none will pull over to the invoice as they did last month and the last previous 12 months. This is solely tied to the new invoice format.

I'll share some insights into why Price Rules aren't showing on the new Invoice experience, Sharon112. Let's work together so you can apply the rules to your invoices. 

 

QuickBooks has recently released new updates about the Invoice layout. In line with this, Price Rules is unavailable for the updated experience. In this case, I recommend switching to the old layout. You can check out this image to complete this action. 

 

However, if you don't have an option, I recommend submitting a feature request directly to our Developers. Doing so allows us to improve your experience with the program. This will be shared with our Product Development Team. 

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Locate the Help option.
  2. Under Profile, choose Feedback.
  3. Enter your feedback suggestion.
  4. Hit the Next button.
