Wondering why and how did my "quick actions" menu change? I can't find anywhere to write an invoice or sales receipt like I'm accustomed to

I recognize the importance of leveraging Quick Action as it provides convenient shortcuts for accessing and completing daily tasks swiftly.

If someone changes your customized shortcuts, you have the option to select and save up to five shortcuts as favorites and adjust them over time based on your usage patterns and preferences.

 

Here's how:

 

1. Under the Dashboard Menu, choose the Home section.

2. Locate the Ellipsis icon, then click the Edit Shortcuts

3. After that, add a checkmark on the box that you want to set as your favorite. 

4. Lastly, press the Save button. 

 

However, if the menu isn't appearing after following the steps above, let's try some basic troubleshooting steps to resolve this minor issue in QuickBooks Online. 

 

Here are the shortcuts to incognito browsers:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox: press: Shift + CTRL + P
