You’re using 0 of 250 accounts included in your plan

I recently migrated from QB Desktop to QB Online. The data migration appeared to go smoothly, but I see a message that says "You’re using 0 of 250 accounts included in your plan".  The weird thing is that I see everything from the Chart of Accounts from the Desktop version. And when I run reports, I see all of the correct entries for each account. So the accounts are there, but QB Online isn't counting them as being used for some reason. Can anyone help? Thank you.

We can work together and get this resolved, LoriDer.

Your books may seem different when you transition from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online. This is because the two have different features and restrictions

Meanwhile, a cache problem could be the root of the prompt message.

There are instances when your browser is loaded with resources from frequently visited pages, which makes QuickBooks Online (QBO) behave oddly.

You can press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page. If you're getting the same result, we can do some of the basic troubleshooting steps by accessing your account in a private window.

Here's how:

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.

Reopen your primary browser and delete the cache if it worked. A different supported browser might also work for logging into your account.

For assistance with setup, efficiency, and maintaining smooth books, you may also check out getting started with QuickBooks Online.

Any further needs, please let me know. I'll still be available to assist.

Thanks for replying so quickly!

I tried the F5 key, opening QB in an incognito window, and opening QB in a different browser (and hitting the F5 key in all of them). It is still saying the same thing.

I was able to make the journal entries today that I needed to. I still have that 1-hour intro call to do, so I will use that time to ask why this is happening. But everything looks ok for now.

Thanks again!
