Question

A customer recently told me he paid via the link provided (for EFT) to pay his emailed invoice. That was 6 days ago and the money is still in his account. What gives?

We use QBO and email out invoices which generates an option to pay online with a link.  We turn credit card payments off and only allow EFT.

Hi there cdgtrucking-cont,

It's vital that you get paid by your customers for the services you provide. QuickBooks Payments is a great tool able to help your customers pay you directly from the invoice you've sent. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with payments not yet deposited.

As stated in this article, bank payments typically take 3 to 4 business days to be deposited. For assistance with this missing deposit, for security reasons, you'd need to reach out to the QuickBooks Payments support team by phone. They'll be able to verify your account information in a secure setting to be able to view the status of the payment in question with you as well as your account in the system so they can assist you with getting paid. You can reach out to them by using these steps in your QuickBooks account:

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact Payments Support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.
