Welcome back to the QuickBooks Community! It's been a while since we've heard from you, so I hope things have been well with you and your business. Being able to add location information for different areas of your books is handy, and I want to make sure you're getting the response you're looking for with adding a location to your customer.

 

To start, it'll help to know more about your situation and what you mean when you say that you're trying to add locations to your customer accounts. In QuickBooks Online, customer profiles don't have the option for location tracking. If you mean you'd like to have more than one address associated with a customer in the Address section of their profile, at this time, the program can only accommodate one address plus a shipping address if it's separate from the main address for a customer.

 

Depending on your situation, there may be different ways to go about this. For instance, if you mean you have a customer that's a business and it has different locations, you could consider setting up a customer profile for the main business and then sub-customers for the subsequent locations. For each sub-customer, you can choose to have its own address assigned to it. Our Add and manage customers in QuickBooks Online has a section that goes over adding and working with sub-customers.
