Adding my customers PO# to his invoice.

Is there a way to add  a field so to show the customer his PO# on his invoice ? should ,I thought be a simple thing to do. Unless I'm missing something in the design template.

Hi GRAHAM 19.

 

Being able to customize an invoice is a great way to add your own personal touch and include the information you wish to send to your clients. I'd be happy to help go over how to customize you Invoice template.

 

Currently purchase order number is not an option to include on an invoice template. If you wish to provide your customer the purchase number you can add it in the Message to customer section. You can customize the Message to customer section by going to Gear>Custom form styles>Select Edit beside the template>Content>Select the last box of the template. Another option is creating your own template and importing it into your QuickBooks Online which can be done by following the steps in this link.

 

If you wish to have a section on the template that allows you to add the PO number I suggest sending feedback to out development team. You can send them feedback using these steps:

 

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.


Once they receive your feedback they'll look into ways to possibly add this in future updates.
