to have this basic accounting feature added is steep. The US version does this so why after 4 years can this not be fixed. I need an appropriate solution or and reasonable app to do this or I need to move to another program.

Create your invoice on another accounting app and utilize the automatic late payment reminder and/or late payment fee. Then utilize a connector to duplicate data from that accounting app to your QBO account automatically. You will spend CAD 60 or less for this method.

Hi Nanette1976

Thanks for connecting with us here.  I can see how having interest automatically calculated on overdue invoices, would be beneficial and time saving.  There's currently no option for this in QuickBooks Online.  However, you can submit a suggestion to our Product Developers by clicking on the Gear icon in the top right corner of your Dashboard and then Feedback.  In addition you can have a look for an app that best suites your business needs.  I hope this helps!

Please reach back out if you have any other questions.  We'd be happy to assist!
