Question

Anyone know why you can not track an estimate or have it accepted by a customer like you can with invoices

Hi there,

Welcome back to the Community. I'd be glad to help answer your questions.

QuickBooks Online makes it easy to track estimates that have been submitted to your customers.

You can run the Estimates by Customer report. This report will provide you the name of the customer, number of the estimate, status, a few other bits of information and invoice # if it's been applied. You can also customize and add the Sent column so you can see if the estimate has been emailed or not.

Let me show you how:

  1.     Select Reports on the left pane.
  2.     Enter and select Estimates by Customer in the search box.
  3.     Click the Customize button.
  4.     Under Rows/Column, select Sent and Delivery Address.
  5.     Run report.

Here's an article for more information: Estimates.

The status of estimates in QuickBooks Online is Pending, Accepted, Closed and Rejected. Anything beyond would be great feedback for our engineers.

You can leave feedback by clicking the Gear icon and selecting Feedback.

Let me know if you have other questions. I'll be happy to assist. :)
