Question

Can I change the estimate email address to my own business email, as estimates to my clients are headed to their junk mail?

Hi stclandscaping-o,

Welcome to the Community. Being able to email estimates to your clients is essential to ensure that they receive them for your services. QuickBooks Online is a great program that gives you the ability to simply send your estimates to your clients. I'd be glad to point you in the right direction to change the estimate email address.

In QuickBooks Online, you can change the email on the estimate by entering yours when creating the estimate. Also, you can activate the option to receive a copy of each estimate you send to your clients from QuickBooks. I encourage you to follow these steps to activate the option.

  1. Click on the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Account and settings.
  3. Choose Sales and click on Messages.
  4. Under Sales form drop-down-menu, choose Estimate.
  5. Choose Email me a copy at.
  6. Click on Save.

You'll receive a copy of each estimate you'll email to your clients from QuickBooks.

Also, the other option available is to save the PDF of the estimates in your device and send it to your clients by email. I'll explain how.

  1. Select the + New icon from the top right corner.
  2. Under Customers, select Estimate.
  3. Fill out the form with the relevant details.
  4. Once completed, click on Print and preview at the bottom.
  5. Select Download.

The PDF of the estimate will be downloaded in your device and you can attach it to your email to send to your client.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, we'll be happy to help.
