Can I change the settings so that invoices are automatically created with the credit card option already checked off?

Hi userkristi,

 

QuickBooks Online Payments is a fantastic way to make getting paid by your customers even easier, and I'm glad to see that you're exploring this option. Having the Cards checkbox on invoices automatically selected will also mean less work for you, so I'd be happy to go over how this feature works.

 

Once you've applied and been approved for QuickBooks Online Payments, you can begin sending invoices with the Cards checkbox selected for your Canadian currency customers. There isn't a toggle or setting to ensure that box is automatically selected for your customers, but once you've checked it off and sent an invoice once, the program is designed to remember that selection for that customer. That way, you don't have to check it off every time, although it is good to take a peek at the box before you send just to be sure the option is selected.

 

In this case, all it takes is sending the first invoices with the checkbox selected for your customers and you'll be good to go from there.
