Can I change the template of the receipt and email when customers make a payment on their invoice? The wording and layout is unclear and confusing to customers

Not referring to sales receipt. This is specifically for when customer pays off their invoice. Also, do not want to have to edit email every single time customers makes a payment.

The feature you've described isn't available. I recommend to continue manually editing the email when sending it to your customers. That said, I see the benefit of being able to customize/change the template of the receipt and I encourage you to send feedback about this to our engineers. You can send feedback by clicking the Gear icon and look for Feedback
