Can I choose what time my recurring invoices go out? Currently they go out at 6:24am and I would like to change that

Recurring templates help save you time by automatically generating and sending familiar sales forms to your customers. This is great for a subscription or membership-based business, as customers are being billed for the same amount weekly or monthly. I'll explain your options for recurring invoices. 

 

I know how handy it would be to control the exact time by which the invoices are sent to your customers. At this time, the recurring templates will be automatically assigned a sending time, in your case 6:24am, and this setting cannot be changed.

 

If you're looking for more control over your invoices and what time they get sent to your customers, you can also consider unchecking the box next to "Automatically send emails". This means your invoices will be created, but you'll have to manually send them to each of your customers at the time of your choosing. 

To change this setting on your template, click the Gear icon > Recurring Transactions. Click Edit next to your recurring template, then uncheck the box next to Automatically send emails. 

 

I think having the option to control the time in which your invoices are sent would be a great way to give you more control over your bookkeeping. I'd be happy to pass this feedback on to the right team. I'd recommend you submit feedback about this on your end too, by clicking the Gear icon > Feedback.

So in short, the answer is no?

 

I definitely do not want to spend time sending recurring invoices manually as this automatic invoicing feature is one of the main reasons I use and recommend QBO. 

 

Is this something on the development team's radar to address?

That's correct. At this time, you're not able to set up a specific time that you'd like the form to be sent out at.
