Question

Can I migrate all QBO data till a particular date to another QBO account without losing data, including the attachments and invoices?

The reason is that my accountant has been working on the original account and the work has not been satisfactory. I need to work on the accounts related to the last 2 years independently without disturbing his work. I am looking forward to improve that chart of accounts and do the bank reconciliation and categorize the transactions, which are not done correctly in the original account. Also there is need to record transactions. I need as well to import the existing invoices and attachments till date to the new QBO account.

You can purchase a 3rd party migration service to do so.

Hello fabric,

Welcome to Community!  Moving your data to a new QuickBooks Online account can be done seamlessly.  I would be glad to assist!

You can export multiple reports and lists, then import the data to another QuickBooks Online account.

Here's how to export your data;

1. Open your Settings ⚙ and choose Export data

2. Click on the Reports/Lists

3. Use the ▼ dropdown menu to select a Pre-selected date range, or choose Custom to enter the desired dates

3. Add or remove items by turning the switch on or off, for each item in the Reports/List menu

4. Hit Export to Excel.

You'll be prompted with confirmation that the data has been exported.

To export different reports, non-posting transactions, or attachments, follow this link.
