Hi bestcoastlandsca,

I can see the importance of being able to recover a deleted invoice. QuickBooks offers a secure platform that makes it easy to create the transactions you need in order to bring your financials into perspective. I'd be happy to steer you in the right direction with invoices.

While there isn't a way to restore a deleted invoice, you can recreate them by clicking on the New (+) icon > Invoice. In case you need to see what the invoice consisted of, I'd suggest using the Audit log as a point of reference. QuickBooks offers a powerful feature called the Audit log. The Audit Log tracks user login/logout activity, changes to settings, customers, suppliers, and employees. In order to find the deleted invoice, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Audit Log.
  2. Select Filter.
  3. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  4. If you've recently created these transactions, locate them on the Audit log screen, click on the blue link to open the transaction in question and if you need to delete unwanted entries, you can easily do that from here.
  5. Select Apply.

Give this a try and if you have questions, don't hesitate to reach back, I'm here to assist.
