Question

Can I rename the discount and total fields on an invoice? I am trying to reflect insurance co-payments therefore reducing the amount the client owes for the service

I work in healthcare and often clients have medical insurance that I bill directly that pays some of their costs. I am trying to show this learly on the invoice when paid in full that there are 2 different payment sources so the client is not confused.

It's always great to see new faces in the Community, Welcome! Thanks for reaching out to us here. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help keep your book balanced. I would be happy to provide some information.

 

At this time, since Discount and Total are default fields, there isn't the option to rename/edit. However, I encourage you to leave feedback for our developers by heading to the Gear icon and selecting the Feedback option. These comments are viewed and considered as they create new features and updates for QuickBooks.
