Can I set up automatic recurring payments for my clients? My client is always late paying and would like me to automatically charge her credit card every month.

Welcome to the QuickBooks community, It's great to have you here! This is the place where all our members get together and share ideas and information. Payments are the life blood of a company and making sure you receive them on time is imperative. I can help go over how to automatically receive a payment from a clients credit card.

 

As long as you're subscribed to the Payments add on and received a payment once before from your client you can manually charge it in the future. In order to charge the credit card you'll need to access the receive payments option for the invoice. Once there select the drop down menu for receive payments and select credit card. You should see an option for automatically charge credit card and the last 4 digits of the card. Once that is shown there should be a check box to charge the credit card for you to select.
