Can QBO generate an automated name to an invoice saved in pdf format? Example, I print or save an invoice and it comes with a long name or no name. Could it be the inv #?

it's important that all your transactions be entered correctly for your books to be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you create and send invoices to customers so they know the services that you provided. I can provide some information about file names.

Within QuickBooks Online, there isn't the option to set a specific file name chain to automatically be applied on invoices that are saved in PDF. I can see that this would be a feature that you'd like to see to help you manage the files saved to your computer. I recommend leaving feedback in the system by clicking on the Gear icon, then Feedback. The comments made in that section are taken into consideration when our developers create new features for the program.
