Can you attach a document to an Employee in QBO such as an employment contract or notices for raises or discipline for reference purposes?

Keeping track of your documents and contracts is an important part of running any business and QuickBooks Online makes it easy by keeping them in one place. I'd be happy to help you get attachments added in QuickBooks Online.

Currently attaching documents directly to an employee is not supported in QuickBooks Online but that doesn't mean you can't still keep track of them. You can upload any document in the attachments folder of QuickBooks Online by going to: Gear>Attachments>Click on Drag/Drop files here or click the icon. From there you can upload documents, contracts, whatever you wish.

If you want to add these documents directly to an employee I suggest sending feedback to our development team by following these steps:

1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

Once you submit the feedback it goes directly to our development team for them to look into ways to possibly add this in future updates.
