Can you change the price of an item on an invoice

Sometimes it's necessary to edit the cost of a product/service on an invoice. I'm excited to show you how to do this using QuickBooks Online. 

Among other powerful tools and features, our invoice feature is one the best as it makes it easy to create and edit invoices. When creating an invoice you can manually edit the price of your product/service but if you'd like to change the price I recommend changing the price of the item using the steps below: 

1. Select Sales
2. Select Products and Services
3. Locate the product you wish to edit
4. Select Edit under the Action column
5. Change the cost amount
6. Select Save and close.

Going forward, the item will be showing the latest price when creating an invoice. Keep in mind that changing the price from the invoice screen is just temporary. You'd have to follow the steps above for a more permanent solution which can always be adjusted.
