Can you encrypt outgoing emailed invoices from quickbooks or do you have to save the pdf invoice attach it to your own email and encrypt that email to send?

Keeping your information secure is a major focus for us at QuickBooks Online while keeping the program easy to use. I would love to go over the features available when emailing your invoices to clients. 

At this time encrypting the emails you send through QuickBooks Online is not something that can be done. However, if you have a gmail account then you can link it to your QuickBooks and send your invoices from there. To learn more about the features available from adding your gmail you can look through our gmail FAQ. If that suits your needs more you can follow the steps in this link to add your gmail.  The only other way would be to save your invoice as a PDF and attach it to your own email.
