Can you run a report for all open (unpaid) invoices that shows whether the invoice has been viewed? (without viewing one at a time)

It's great to learn you're using QuickBooks to help tackle your accounting goals. QuickBooks offers a variety of reports that help you bring your finances into perspective. I'll be happy to share more info so you can continue to do the things you enjoy. 

While the view status customization option you've described isn't available on a report, I recommend running the Invoice List report. This report shows a list of your invoices that you can then customize.  In case you need to customize/filter the report, here's an article that shows you how to do that.
